1. Flower Core R1: Chain 6 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring. R2: 6 V-stitches. R3 (outer half): (X, V) * 6. R4 (outer half): 18 X.


2. Stigma R3 (inner half): 3 CH, pull up a loop in the next stitch, and continue around R4 (inner half): 6 CH, join with a slip stitch in the first chain stitch, then pull up a loop in the next stitch, and continue around.


3. Petals R5 (inner half): Two rows of Afghan crochet stitch, decrease 2 stitches while working.
